FOOD
I know from my own personal experience, that if I were to look in my pantry right now, I would see alot of canned food and non perishable foods that have been in there for a long time, that I havent even touched, boxes of soup and rice that I dont plan on eating, its not because the food has gone bad, its just the simple fact that I've not come across a situation in which I needed to use these items, and chances are I'm not going to need them. So Instead of letting perfectly good food just sit there and take up space in my pantry... why not give it to families that truly do need it and would appreciate it so much.

Clothing
I'm sure that I'm not the only one that looks in their closet and sees alot of clothes that you havent worn in years or that you can't wear anymore. And trust me I had alot, so dont feel bad. The point is why not give it to someone that would truly appreciate these items instead of letting these items take up space in your closet. Things like, coats,flannel shirts,T-shirts,jeans,old shoes and even glasses would be so greatly appreciated by the needy families in our area. Places like GOODWILL are great to donate to, but people buy these items... we donate to people that can't afford to buy these items.
